RF455-136 [RF 4.55 Dragonborn v0.5.1] Critical Animus Aggro Redirection, Attack Delay Loss, Corpse Targeting, and DP Recovery Bugs

While running and testing server core version v0.5.1, several critical combat and AI anomalies were identified regarding Cora Animus behavior, attack recovery pacing, monster target clearing upon player death, and defense gauge (DP) resetting upon revival.

Key Issues Identified:

  1. Animus Attack Command Threat Redirection Bug:
    • Symptom: When issuing a command for an Animus to attack a target monster, the monster's aggro table fails to bind to the Animus, causing the monster to bypass the pet and immediately attack the player operator.
  1. Reverse Damage Interception (Animus Taking Player's Damage):
    • Symptom: When a player is attacked by a monster while having an active Animus, incoming damage is erroneously redirected to the Animus instead of the player.
  1. Missing Attack Delay & Recovery Stun:
    • Symptom: Both monsters and Animus lack post-attack cooldowns and hit recovery frames, resulting in continuous, uninterrupted attack streams without proper animation pacing.
  1. Monster AI Target Not Cleared Upon Player Death (Corpse Targeting):
    • Symptom: If a player dies while an Animus is active, monsters continue to execute attack actions on the dead player's corpse rather than disengaging or switching targets.
  1. Defense Gauge (DP) Not Recovering After Death:
    • Symptom: Upon character death and subsequent respawn, the player's Defense Gauge (DP) fails to reset or refill, remaining depleted.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Summon an Animus and command it to attack any mob in the field; observe the mob targeting the player instead.
  2. Receive a monster attack while the Animus is summoned and check the incorrect damage absorption.
  3. Observe mob combat pacing to notice the complete absence of attack delays/recovery frames.
  4. Die to a monster with an active Animus and observe ongoing attacks on the dead character.
  5. Revive from death and inspect the persistent empty state of the Defense Gauge (DP).
