Game Data editor. RF Online Dragonborn, Age of Patron, 1.5 and Golden Age content tables open in a grid with filter, sort, paste, undo, cross-references, column math, and CSV export and import.
Game Data installs. Edits go to a project copy of the server's content database and the client's own tables, Install applies them to the linked server, and Revert or Undo last save takes them back off.
View model. A monster, item, guard tower, MAU part, animus or mount row opens its model in the model viewer, and a row whose model the client does not ship is marked.
NPC dialog pages and buttons. Gate to Heavens NPC dialogs can relink, add and remove pages and answer buttons, add a conditional page, undo every edit, check for broken links, and convert to a Lua script.
Model import. Replace an RF Online or Gate to Heavens model's mesh with your own glTF, GLB, FBX or OBJ, bound to the model's bones, with its textures saved into the project.
Import as a new item. Add a new weapon, armour piece, shield, cloak or creature to RF Online Dragonborn, Age of Patron, 1.5 or Golden Age from your own model, with a Check that shows the plan before anything is written.
Item glows and effect editing. The Effects tab edits an effect's node, particles, entity and folder, lists a spell's files without playing it, and Add glow gives an item with none a glow of its own.
Model viewer camera. The camera pans, looks around in place, flies with WASD, snaps to front, back, side, top and bottom views, and keeps named views on Ctrl+1 to 9, suggested by SuryaRaka.
Compare mode. Show a second model, or the client's original of one your project changes, side by side or see-through over the first, playing in step with its effects and spells.
Test in game. One step installs the project, restarts the linked server only when a server file changed, asking first with the number of players on, and launches the client.
Change review. File > Review changes lists everything the next Install writes, with a diff, a revert and a tick box for each, reverts a map's changes a part at a time, and opens a changed texture or model.
Spawn tuning. Drag a spawn's radius ring on the map, or set count, respawn time and radius across a selection, within what the server accepts.
Live map placements. Dragonborn, Age of Patron, 1.5 and Golden Age maps read from and install into the linked server's content database, and a running server picks up spawn, NPC and portal changes without a restart.
Populate from a map. Copy another map's monster spawns onto an RF Online map, laid out on walkable ground, as one undo step.
Retail spawn files. A Golden Age, Age of Patron or Dragonborn map can also write the spawn files a server in Legacy Game Data Mode reads.
Install scope. Install, Review and Test in game work on the item in front or the whole project, and the whole project covers every edited map, open or not.
Merging installs. Two maps that change one shared file in different places install together, and when they clash the Install dialog shows both sides.
Gate to Heavens and World of Kung Fu portals. The world graph and the portal overlay work on Gate to Heavens and World of Kung Fu clients.
Layer moves. The inspector's Layer row moves a selection to another layer or a new one.
Server panel. A server of the same game running from another folder no longer stops the linked one from starting, as Studio checks only the linked server's own port.
Skinned glTF export. RF Online, Gate to Heavens and World of Kung Fu characters export with their skeleton and animations, ready to pose in Blender.
Animation editing. An RF Online bone with no keys of its own in a clip can be keyed, keying a Gate to Heavens bone swings the bones below it, and World of Kung Fu creatures take spliced clips.
Macro replay. A macro played back from a new spot moves every point it placed or painted, and recording warns when a step names an object only that map has.
Repack. Repack adds new files to an RF Online archive as well as replacing existing ones.
RF Online map backdrops. A model shown against a Dragonborn, Age of Patron or 1.5 map stands in its town, and 1.5 maps line their minimap up with the ground.
Memory use. Studio loads extra fonts only when a character needs them, holding about 150 MB less.
Window opening. Studio opens centred, without a blank window flashing in the corner first.
STU-003: FBX map export in Blender. Blender 5.0 and 5.2 refused a map exported as FBX with "Bad DEFLATE data"; it imports now. Reported by EvgenVariag.
STU-005: Map controls help. The pan, orbit and mouse help on the map editor stayed until the first edit and could not be closed; it has a close button now. Reported by accretianz.
Installing over archived files. A project file the game also keeps inside an .rfs or .pack archive had no effect in game; Install now rebuilds the archive.
Imported Gate to Heavens props. See-through and two-sided parts of an imported prop drew solid and one-sided in game; they draw as imported now.
Gate to Heavens monster counts. The Spawns tab counted every point of a monster spawn as a monster; it counts one per spawn now, as the server keeps.
Dragonborn effects. Some Dragonborn effects drew without their particles or effect meshes in the model viewer; they draw in full now.
Damaged game files. A damaged texture, archive, map or mesh could make Studio run out of memory or crash; it is refused now.
