MAUs That Fight, Ammunition That Lands, And A Map That Lines Up
Released 2026-08-31
Riding a MAU works from the warehouse to the repair bay, effect ammunition finally does what the round carries, and every dot on the live map stands where it stands in the game.
RF2232-293: Monsters use their own special attacks. A monster that carries one can now put a
debuff on you, the same way a force does.
RF2232-330: A matching equipment set gives its bonus. Wearing the pieces of a set turns the
set’s effects on.
RF2232-416: Ammunition that spreads a swing now spreads it. Shotgun and launcher rounds catch
everything in the arc instead of only what you aimed at.
RF2232-318: A trader listing that ran out while you were offline is offered back to you. Put it
straight back on the market instead of listing it again out of your bag.
A planted mining tool keeps digging while you are logged out. It carries on until its batteries
run flat or its store fills up, and a server owner who wants the original behaviour back can switch
it off in the control panel.
PvP cash moves at every level. A kill below level 40 used to pay nothing and cost nothing.
A MAU has a booster gauge that runs down while you boost. Only frames wearing a back part with
a booster in it have one.
A MAU you walk away from is towed back to the warehouse. You get a minute to come back, and the
tow costs 1,000 dalant.
Your server tells you when there is a newer build. The control panel shows it beside the
version you are running, and nothing is downloaded or installed for you.
RF2232-422: Every dot on the live map stands where it stands in the game. Seventeen maps are
measured against your client’s own art now, so town NPCs are in their towns and monsters follow
the land. Re-run the art tool to pick them up.
The live map’s legend sits above the map, and clicking a name hides that group. Switch the
monsters off to read a crowded map, and switch them back on with the label or with Show all.
The live map’s terrain sits back behind the dots. The picture is washed down so a yellow player
on yellow desert is something you can find.
A map your client has no drawn minimap for gets an outline of its own terrain, captioned so
nobody takes a silhouette for map art. It used to be a bare grid.
A skill or a force cannot be cast at something further away than it reaches. The server checks
the range itself instead of taking the client’s word for it.
A mining tool can only be planted on a real ore vein. The server reads where the veins are, so
a spot the game would have refused is refused.
RF2232-427: A bought MAU had no body. Parked or ridden, for its owner or for anyone watching,
there was nothing to draw. Machines already bought are repaired when you next enter the world.
RF2232-428: Anyone who arrived after you boarded saw you on foot. A rider is a rider to
everybody now, including people who change map, relog or walk up later.
RF2232-429: A parked MAU or a guard tower vanished after a few seconds and did not come back
until you relogged. Walking back into view re-introduces it.
RF2232-430: Logging out while riding refused every later boarding with “already checked out”.
Relogging was what caused it, so relogging could not clear it.
RF2232-431: Monsters did not fight back while you were in a MAU. They learn who is hitting them
now.
RF2232-432: The MAU’s hull bar never moved. It was sent once, at boarding, so a 160,000 hull was
incapable of changing however hard anything hit you.
RF2232-433: Dying left the MAU interface on screen and left you unable to use another one. Death
ends the ride, and the client is told about it.
RF2232-434: A MAU’s main weapon ammunition never decreased, and the magazine read 65535.
RF2232-435: A ridden MAU defended with your own armour instead of its plating. The fitted parts
are what stops the blow now.
RF2232-437: A MAU at 0% answered “Data error ( 100 )” to the one thing that fixes it. Frame
repair works, priced off the machine and its fitted parts, with a surcharge on a hull at zero.
RF2232-439: Fighting in a MAU trained nothing. A rider earns unit PT for the kill instead of
experience, and in a party each member is paid by whether they are riding.
RF2232-426: An Accretian’s force gauge never moved. A level 50 Accretia Ranger sat at 75 FP for
ever, because max FP was a fixed number instead of one that grows with skill mastery.
RF2232-411: Every mastery bar but the weapon ones read the wrong level. Shield, skill, force
and race specialisation each climb on their own curve now, so a MAU driver’s gauge no longer stops
at 22 of 99.
RF2232-419, RF2232-423: Effect ammunition still did nothing in the last build. A thrown round
applies what it carries and comes out of the box, and a launcher round is resolved and spent on an
ordinary shot rather than only on a siege weapon.
RF2232-424: Effect ammunition worked on players and not on monsters. A net holds a monster where
it stands, and it keeps swinging at whatever is already in reach.
RF2232-420: Dropping a box of ammunition shredded it. Throwing a hundred rounds on the ground
left ninety-nine in the bag and one at your feet. The whole box goes down and the whole box comes
back up.
Traps, boxes, firecrackers, radars, recovery items, battle dungeon passes and NPC link items
share a bag slot. Each one used to take a slot of its own.
RF2232-440: A Cora could not take an animus back out of the summon window while the bag held
another of the same kind, which is the state every character who has changed class is in.
RF2232-215: A Shining Lucky Gem refused to combine into its hero form. Ten thousand recipes were
resolving one row short, and this is the one anybody noticed.
RF2232-192: A debuff on a monster wore off after about six seconds, whatever duration the force
listed. It now runs for as long as the force says it does.
RF2232-278: A mastery bar already at its cap reported an increase on every swing. It stays quiet
until the number actually moves.
RF2232-345: A guild member’s level and PvP points in the roster only refreshed when they logged
back in.
RF2232-371: Two delivery quests handed over both deliveries in one conversation. They take two.
Three maps showed no NPCs at all on the live map, and their monster dots flickered. Platform01,
NeutralC and NeutralA carry more than a thousand monsters each and were spending the whole frame on
them.
The site kept drawing the art pack you had before. Re-running the art tool reaches the browser
now instead of sitting behind a cached copy.
A server whose database was only half created rejected every login, for ever. Nothing said why
and no restart could fix it. The missing tables are created on the next start.
