Expand Headless Client Support for Race Leadership, Guilds, and Game Events
Why it matters: Expose race leadership, guild management, and major game event notifications through the headless client so automation agents can participate in elections, manage guild membership, and react to events like Chip Wars and Guild Wars. This would enable more advanced event driven automation without requiring manual interaction.
While testing the v0.2.1 headless client with RF 2.2.3.2 and local server 0.7.0, I identified several areas where additional commands and event notifications would enable more advanced automation.
1. Race Leader / Elections
Expose commands to:
- Register as a race leader candidate.
- List current candidates.
- Cast a vote.
- Query the current race leader and other office holders.
- Appoint officials, where applicable.
- Adjust race tax rates and distribute race tax funds.
2. Guild Management
Expose commands to:
- Create a guild.
- Invite players and accept guild invitations.
- Leave a guild.
- List guild members and retrieve guild information.
3. Game Event Notifications
Expose relevant game events to agents so they can react to state changes without constantly polling.
Initially, I would be interested in:
- Race leader elections: election started, voting progress, and results announced.
- Guild Wars: notifications for relevant guild-war state changes.
- Chip Wars: notifications for the event starting, progressing, and ending.
