Where the work is

Every game with a report against it, by how many there are in total and how many are still open. Both, because a game with four hundred reports and none open is a finished game and one with four reports and four open is a new one, and either number alone calls them the same thing.

The bright bar is what is still open; the dim one behind it is everything ever filed against that game.

How long the open ones have been waiting

The chart that says whether the queue is healthy. A count of open reports says how much there is; this says whether any of it is being abandoned, which the median cannot show because a report that is never fixed contributes to no median at all.

How the medians are counted

A report contributes to a median only once it has reached that milestone, so a report still waiting is in neither figure. That is the honest thing for "how long does it take" to do with work that has not finished, and it is why the age chart beside it exists: the two together say what one of them alone would hide.
