Old School Ops
RF Online: Golden Age v0.6.0

GoMMO Manager, GoMMO Client And AI Automation, Control Panel Operations

Released 28 September 2026

GoMMO Manager, the bundled GoMMO Client with AI automation, and new control panel operations that streamline running a server.

Features

  • GoMMO Manager. One window at the root of the download starts and stops the servers, restarts them after a crash, takes backups, manages accounts and walks a new owner through first-run setup.
  • GoMMO Client. The download carries GoMMO Client 0.1.0 in client-gommo/, a new client that plays the game with a window or with none at all.
  • AI automation. An AI agent such as Claude, or your own program, can observe and play a character through the GoMMO Client over MCP or HTTP, and Lua scripts can drive it too.
  • Character editor. A Super Administrator can edit an offline character's fields, gear, inventory and item sockets from the control panel, and every change is recorded.
  • Live operations. The control panel lists who is online on each map, graphs the player count over the last day, and shows the Chip War timers.
  • Rate events. An operator can schedule a multiplier on the game's rates that starts, ends and announces itself.
  • Reward mail. An operator can mail an item or gold to one character or to everyone in the world.
  • Scheduled restart. A restart counts down with warnings to players, and it or a shutdown can be called off before it fires.
  • Open registration setting. AUTO_REGISTER decides whether an unknown name at the launcher creates a new account.
  • Starting options. Two operator settings, both off by default, start new characters with every mastery and force (and a Cora with all eight animus), and let a guild be founded without a party, members or money.
  • Death experience loss. Dying to a monster on a field map can cost part of your level's experience, and the recovery item returns some of it.

Improvements

  • Launcher sign-in port. Sign-in follows the game port plus one, so moving the game port no longer breaks the launcher.
  • Install layout. Settings live in settings/, and a server started directly from its own folder finds them.
  • Owner account. A new install carries no example administrator; the owner creates their own account with the one-time setup password.
  • Startup checks. The server says at startup when its operator configuration tables were never imported.
  • Booster speed. Boosting uses the faster of the booster's speed and your gear's, so a cloak with no booster no longer slows you down.

Fixes

  • RF2232-486: Teleport arrival. A player could be attacked and killed while still on the loading screen after a teleport; nothing can target you until you arrive.
  • Experience bar. From level 49 on, the experience bar looped back to 0% while your real experience kept climbing.
  • Force casting. Forces could be cast faster than their delays allowed and debuffs always landed on monsters for no FP; casts now follow the original delays, costs and monster resistance.
  • Force book. Moving a force back into its book and swapping two forces of the same effect now work.
  • Animus behaviour. An animus told to follow kept fighting, and it earned experience only from kills; it now follows, and earns from every hit it lands (Paimon also from hits it takes).
  • Party experience. Two party sizes earned the wrong kill experience bonus.
  • Experience potions. Experience potions had no effect.
  • Timed items. Rental items never ran out; they now disappear when their time is up.
  • Merchant gear upgrades. Gear bought from a merchant could not take talics.
  • Mining. Veins from the eleventh on mined as a different vein, and after a mine finished an automatic miner could not be installed.
  • Nuclear strike. A nuclear strike did no damage; it now hits enemy-race players in range outside town, and the kill goes to the player who called it.
  • Website on first start. A website started before the game server ran with empty databases, leaving no way to sign in.
