Old School Ops
RF Online: Golden Age v0.8.1

Studio Link, Boss Encounters, Content Reload, Monster Height

Released 25 October 2026

GoMMO Studio's server link, boss encounters, live content reload, monster height, siege and grenade effects, and player account grades.

Features

  • GoMMO Studio link. The server can link to GoMMO Studio, which then shows its players and log, runs GM commands, edits game data and monsters live, schedules rate events and cash shop sales, debugs scripts and logs a test character in.
  • Boss encounters. An encounter script gives a monster a boss fight with phases, timed abilities, adds, enrage, loot by contribution and lockouts, and a locked-out character can neither hurt that boss nor be hurt by it.
  • Live content reload. Item, store, quest, skill and monster records reload without a restart, and a spawn area whose monster changed respawns with the new one.

Improvements

  • Player GM commands. The control panel setting that lets every player run the safe GM commands now ships off, so a new server gives players none until the operator turns it on.
  • HP, FP and SP. A promoted character's earlier classes add their pool bonuses, and a pool raised past its ceiling stays full instead of dropping low.
  • Monsters and height. Monsters notice and chase players by height as well as distance, keep their own height, and their effects no longer reach a player inside a MAU.
  • Grenades and siege fire. The Stun Grenade stuns everyone it hits, and siege rounds hit an area.
  • MAU fire rate. A MAU shot fired a little late no longer pushes back the next one.
  • Chip war timer. The warning before the war starts shows on screen.
  • Game data editor. Item descriptions, quest text and store merchant text can be edited in every client language, and a quest's level limit reads as the highest level it is offered to.

Fixes

  • Player account grade. With player commands open, every player was treated as a developer and skipped the FireGuard PIN prompt; players keep their own grade now, and a % command typed in chat still runs.
  • MAU booster. A parked MAU kept burning its booster, and now only burns it while moving.
  • Bag layout. The bag kept rearranging itself at login; it keeps where you put things.
