RF Online 1.5 v0.3.2

Studio Link, Guilds And Council, Repeatable Quests, Combat Rules

Released 25 October 2026

GoMMO Studio's server link, live content reload, the guild treasury, honor guilds and council seats, repeatable quests, boss guards and weapon procs.

Features

  • GoMMO Studio link. The server can link to GoMMO Studio, which then shows its players and log, edits game data and monsters live, schedules experience and drop rate events, debugs dungeon scripts and logs a test character in to play.
  • Live content reload. Content tables and map placements reload while the server runs, so changed spawn areas respawn and added or moved NPCs and guard towers appear without a restart.
  • Repeatable quests. A repeatable quest can be taken again once its cooldown ends, and finished quests are kept in the quest history.
  • Guild treasury. Members deposit into the guild treasury and the guild master can withdraw from it.
  • Honor guilds. Each race's patriarch names its honor guilds, and the list changes over at midnight.
  • Council seats. Council members carry their seat in the game, skills that need a rank are refused to anyone without it, and a leader's wave reaches nearby allies.
  • Boss guards. A boss spawns its guards, tops them up over time, and its guards leave shortly after it dies.
  • Weapon procs. A weapon with an active effect casts its skill or force when it hits, against monsters and players.
  • Monster specials. Monsters use their special attacks and call nearby monsters to help them.
  • PvP order view. Daily kills and deaths are kept, and temporary points convert at midnight.
  • Animus PvP. An animus attacks players, taking the target its master attacks or is attacked by.
  • Chip war mining ticket. Mining during the chip war needs the war's mining ticket, which the race that destroys the stone receives.

Improvements

  • Player GM commands. The control panel setting that lets every player run the safe GM commands now ships off, so a new server gives players no GM commands until it is turned on.
  • Health above 65,535. A character's HP goes past 65,535 instead of stopping there.
  • Monsters and height. Monsters notice and chase players by height as well as distance, keep their own height, chase at their combat speed, and their effects no longer reach a player inside a MAU.
  • Splash damage. Splash reaches every target whose edge is inside its area, so large monsters are hit, and siege rounds hit an area.
  • Chip war rules. A holy stone and the keeper take no damage from their own race, the keeper only during its scene, and the warning before the war starts shows on screen.
  • Held item bonuses. Held items with the same effect add up and stop at the effect's cap, whatever order they sit in the bag.
  • Locking effects. Effects that lock attack skills, forces or running hold the target to them.
  • Animus upkeep. An animus at its master's maximum level takes no more experience, and running out of FP sends it back.
  • Leader gear. Guild master, council and race leader gear can be worn only by that rank, and PvP-grade gear needs the grade.

Fixes

  • RF15-138: Class change history. After logging out and back in, the client showed a character as never having changed class; the class change stays. Reported by jasmine1006.
  • World entry security. The game server let anyone who could reach it enter on any account; entering the world now takes a one-time key from the launcher's sign-in.
  • Player account grade. While the safe GM commands were open to everyone, players were told their account was a developer, which skipped the FireGuard PIN prompt; they keep their real grade, and a % command typed in chat still runs.
  • Returning to character select. A character's towers, traps, SP towers, parked MAU, animus and mount stayed in the world after going back to character select; they leave with the character.
  • Character switching. Bonuses from one character's gear and held items could carry over to the next character chosen on the same login; each character has its own.
  • Quest objectives. Quest steps that ask you to talk to an NPC or hand items over never completed; talking to that NPC completes them and takes the items.
  • Quest rewards on a full bag. A quest reward that did not fit in the bag was lost; it lands at the player's feet.
  • EXP, PT, drop and mining potions. These potions had no effect; they raise the experience, PT, drops or mining speed they name.
  • Class changes seen by others. Other players never saw a character's promotion or Class Refine reset; they do.
  • Accretia launchers. An Accretia's launcher mastery on the server was far below the Character window's, so launchers would not equip; the two agree.
  • Mail attachments. Gear and animus could not be attached to mail; they go whole.
  • Monster deaths. A monster killed at the edge of view could stay standing on another player's screen; everyone who saw it sees it die.
  • Guild window. The guild window read the guild's name and room type wrong; they show correctly.
