Old School Ops
RF Online: Age of Patron v0.2.1

Studio Link, Boss Encounters, Honor Guilds, Chip War Rules

Released 25 October 2026

GoMMO Studio's server link, boss encounters, honor guilds, the chip war's race rules, guild treasury, live content edits and skill, monster and money handling.

Features

  • GoMMO Studio link. The server can link to GoMMO Studio, which then shows its players and log, edits monsters live, schedules rate events and cash shop sales, debugs scripts and logs a test character in to play.
  • Boss encounters. Bosses can be scripted to fight in phases, with abilities, enrage, loot by contribution and lockouts.
  • Honor guilds. Each race's patriarch names its honor guilds, and the list changes over at midnight.
  • Chip war rules. A holy stone and the keeper ignore their own race, the war's mining ticket goes to the race that destroyed the stone, and the race buff takes hold when its phase begins.
  • Repeatable quests. A repeatable quest can be taken again once its waiting time has passed.
  • Guild treasury and emblem. Members deposit into the guild treasury, the master withdraws from it and buys the emblem, and guild grade is recalculated nightly.
  • Animus in PvP. An animus attacks players wherever PvP is allowed and joins in when its master fights a player.
  • Live content edits. Spawns, NPCs, portals, guard towers and content tables an operator changes take effect without restarting the server.
  • Game data editing. The control panel's game data editor saves changes to the server's content and to the client's own tables, and the launchers pick up the changed client files.

Improvements

  • Skill and force effects. Healing, Purge, Focus, Aid Stretching and SP/FP drain work, and an aimed buff lands on its target instead of the caster.
  • Weapon procs. A weapon with an active effect casts its skill or force when it hits.
  • Monster skills. Monsters use their special skills, call for help and pincer as in the original.
  • Monsters and height. Monsters notice and chase players by height as well as distance, chase at their combat speed, keep their own height, and their effects no longer reach a player inside a MAU.
  • Gear and buff effects. Hit rate, cooldown cuts, maximum pools, FP cost, absorb, recovery and harmful-force duration from buffs and gear all apply.
  • Jades. The Talk Jade works in circle chat and whispers, the Holy Jade weakens harmful effects, Discount Jades lower NPC shop prices, and held items of one kind add up to a single cap.
  • Splash, reach and view range. Splash damage measures to each target's edge, attacks are checked against the weapon's reach, and you see what the original's view range shows.
  • PvP order. Daily kills and deaths are tracked, temporary points convert at midnight, and talik recovery repays debt.
  • Stuns. Stuns lock players and monsters in place for their full duration.
  • Class skills. A class skill attacks with its own values and its effects run, including Rebirth, Taunt, Vampire Groan, Flash-Bang, Heal Wind, Blood Sucking, Escape and Provoke.
  • State effects. Attack, cast and move locks, Feign Death, Stone Curse, Force Shield and Slow all take effect.
  • Leader wave. A leader's wave reaches nearby allies.
  • Siege kits and MAU. Siege kits check level and range, MAU shots check reach and attack delay, and siege rounds hit an area.
  • Animus growth. An animus takes no experience at its master's level cap, and Communion Crystals and the Sympathy Charm add to its attacks.
  • Transport ship. The ship sails and anchors on the original schedule, hurry works, and boarding checks your level before your ticket.
  • Money. Dalant holds up to 200 billion and gold up to 100 million, the bank, auction prices, trades, money exchange and mail take the large amounts, and money that would overflow the purse is stopped instead.
  • Chip war warning. The warning before the chip war starts shows on screen.
  • Content matches the client. Items, skills, shops, timers, quests and monsters line up with the 4.15 client's own tables.
  • Game data editor. Names can be edited in every client language, item pages list the stores that sell them, and large tables page faster.
  • Launcher sign-in. Entering the world requires the one-time key your launcher received at login.
  • Player GM commands. The control panel setting that lets every player run the safe GM commands ships off, so a new server gives players none until the operator turns it on.

Fixes

  • Player account grade. Player accounts were handed a GM grade; they get their own grade, and % commands typed in chat still run.
  • Set bonuses at login. Set bonuses did not reach the HP, FP and SP bars at login, and now do.
  • HP, FP and SP pools. A large bonus could wrap a pool down to a small number; it now stops at the top.
  • Bag layout. The bag kept rearranging itself at login; it keeps where you put things.
  • Auction listings. A listed item stays in your bag, locked, while it is on the auction house.
  • MAU list. The MAU list at login reads correctly for every MAU you own.
  • MAU booster. A parked MAU kept burning its booster.
  • Stun Grenade. The Stun Grenade stuns everyone in its area.
  • Accretia launchers. An Accretia's launcher mastery was far lower on the server than in the Character window, so launchers would not equip.
  • Class changes. Players nearby never saw another player's promotion or class reset.
  • Quest rewards on a full bag. A quest reward that did not fit was lost, and now lands at your feet.
  • Mail attachments. Gear and animus are sent whole.
  • Leader gear. Guild master and council gear could be worn by anyone.
  • Timed items. A timed item stacked onto an untimed one.
  • Guild numbers. A new guild could reuse a disbanded guild's number.
  • Siege mode. Dying left you in siege mode.
