RF Online: Dragonborn
Version 4.55 (Taiwan)
The last Taiwan build of the 4.x line: a far bigger store, eleven more maps, and item collections.

The client it talks to
Every server here is built against one game client and only that one. A client from a neighbouring version does not half-work: the two disagree on the first message and it fails at the login screen.

THIS CLIENT EXPIRES, AND AN EXPIRED ONE WILL NOT LET YOU PRESS START GAME. It checks its own build date against your clock, and once past its shelf life it writes "This Client Version has Expired!" to its log and greys out Start Game with nothing on screen to say why - Credits and Exit keep working, which is what makes it look like a broken install rather than a deliberate check. The fix ships with this bundle: run tools/clientpatcher.ps1 with the path to your RF_Online.bin and it will name the build you have and print what to switch off. The check never touches the network, so no server can satisfy it for you.
Check the hash before you report anything. Several retail builds share a
version number and disagree with each other, so the number alone does not identify one
file.
