GoMMO Client plays our games from your own game install. It is one Windows program for every game it plays; the GoMMO Client page lists them, with the install each one needs.
Installing it
Download the Windows zip from the GoMMO Client page and unzip it anywhere. It holds:
GoMMO_Client.exe, the client;scripts/, the scripts it runs;README.txt.
Keep the scripts folder beside GoMMO_Client.exe.
Choosing a game
When GoMMO_Client.exe sits in a supported game's install folder, or is started from one, it plays that game.
Anywhere else, it opens its start window and asks which game to play:
- the games you pointed it at before are listed: pick one and press Play;
- for a new game, press Add a game folder and choose the folder it is installed in, or drop that folder on the window.
It recognises the game from the folder, and for RF Online which version. When it is not sure, it asks you to confirm.
It reads the game's own files from that install and ships no game art, so the game has to be installed.
Settings
Settings live in gommo.ini beside GoMMO_Client.exe. When that folder cannot be written, they live in %AppData%\GoMMO\gommo.ini instead.
| Section | Holds |
|---|---|
[Client] | Game, the game played last |
One per game, named by its key, such as [rf2232] | Install, Host and Port for that game |
[Account] | The Email and Password made up on the first run |
Command line
| Option | Does |
|---|---|
-game <key> | Plays that game without asking. The keys are moderngth, rf455, rf415, rf15, rf2232 and wokf. |
-host <address> | Picks the server. |
-port <number> | Picks the server's port. |
GoMMO_Client.exe is a windowed program, so it opens no console of its own. Started from a terminal it prints to that terminal, but the prompt comes back straight away; pipe its output, for example .\GoMMO_Client.exe -version | Out-Host in PowerShell, to wait for it.
Updates
GoMMO Client keeps itself up to date. It downloads a newer signed version in the background and installs it the next time it starts.
The Linux build
The Linux download has no window. It runs scripts and the Automation API on a server, with -headless, -serve or -mcp. Give it:
| Option | Value |
|---|---|
-game | The game's key |
-rf <folder> | The game folder, for RF Online |
-wokf <folder> | The game folder, for World of Kung Fu |
-data <folder>/data | The data folder inside the game folder, for Gate to Heavens |
-host and -port | The server |
Scripts and automation
- Client Scripting: writing and running Lua scripts.
- Client Automation API: letting an AI agent or your own program play a character, over MCP or HTTP.
Reporting a bug
Report a problem on the bug form under GoMMO Client. The form asks which game you were playing.
