How You Type Them

Commands go in the ordinary chat box, starting with a slash.

/who
/goto g02
/item 0x300000bf 10

The name is not case sensitive. The reply comes back as a system line in your own chat window. /help lists every command the server knows, including the ones your level cannot run. A name the server does not know replies Unknown command, and one your level cannot run replies You do not have permission to do that.

Who Can Run What

Each command needs a staff level on the wokf game, and a level runs everything at or below it. GM accounts covers how a grant is made. The server reads your level from the accounts database on every command, so a grant or a revoke takes effect at once.

LevelCommands
Every player/help, /tell, /say
Moderator/who, /where, /stats, /maps
Game Master/heal, /hurt, /tp, /goto, /kill, /save
Administrator/level, /exp, /item, /money, /rep, /culture, /king, /war, /spawn

Everything that creates value, sets a level or starts a war is Administrator, because each one changes the game for players other than the one typing it.

The Commands

CommandArgumentsWhat it does
/helpnoneLists every command name.
/tell<name> <message>Whispers to an online player by name.
/say<message>Says the line to the players around you.
/whononeLists everyone online with their level and map.
/wherenonePrints your map and your position, in world units and in tiles.
/statsnonePrints your level, weapon school, health, mana, attack, defence, hit, dodge, critical and experience.
/mapsnonePrints how many players, entities and triggers the map you are on holds.
/healnoneRestores your health to full.
/hurt[amount]Damages you, half your maximum health with no amount. Enough of it kills you, which is the point: it tests damage, death and healing items.
/tp<x> <z>Moves you to a position on the map you are on, in world units.
/goto<map>Moves you to another map by its folder name, such as g02.
/killnoneKills every monster close around you.
/savenoneWrites your character to the database now.
/level<level>Sets your level, capped at your weapon school's maximum, sets the experience to match, and heals you.
/exp<amount>Grants experience, levelling you up if it crosses a level.
/item<item> [count]Puts an item in your bag by its hexadecimal id from the item table, up to its stack limit.
/money<amount>Adds money. A negative amount takes it away.
/rep<reputation> <amount>Adjusts one of your 24 reputations by number, such as /rep 1 1000.
/culture<amount>Sets your kungfu culture.
/kingnoneCrowns you King of your country. You need a country first.
/war<kind> [rival]Starts a war for your country now. The kind is system, diffrace or rob, and every kind except diffrace needs a rival country from 1 to 4 that is not your own.
/spawnnoneNot implemented: spawns come from the map files.

Worth Knowing

  • Every command acts on you. None of them takes another player's name, apart from /tell.
  • Staff commands are logged with the character that ran them, and refused ones are logged with the level they needed.
